The Journal of Engineering and Environmental Systems (JEES) is pleased to announce the JEES Annual Best Paper Awards, recognizing outstanding research contributions published in the journal.
These awards aim to promote high-quality research and acknowledge authors whose work significantly advances knowledge in engineering, environmental science, and sustainability.
Award Categories
- 🥇 JEES Best Paper Gold Award – $500
- 🥈 JEES Best Paper Silver Award – $300
- 🥉 JEES Best Paper Bronze Award – $200
Eligibility
All research articles and review papers published in JEES during the award year are automatically eligible for consideration.
Selection Criteria
Papers will be evaluated based on:
- Originality and novelty of research
- Scientific rigor and methodological quality
- Relevance to engineering and environmental systems
- Potential scientific impact (citation indicators)
- Clarity of presentation
- Altmetrics (downloads, views) may also be considered as supplementary indicators of impact.
Selection Process
The winners will be selected by the Editorial Board and an independent evaluation committee based on the above criteria.
The awards will be announced annually on the journal website.
